Okay, so this is a fun gift idea for all sorts of things. (From rated-G to not so rated G) The actual paddle is well constructed and larger than you'd expect. The sharpie it came with wasn't really useful, so I opted to decorate with my own sharpie. I got this for my husband for a 5th wedding anniversary present because 5-years is wood, and I thought it'd be a cute idea for something affordable that I could write all of our different inside jokes and quotes.
